Greetings, Reggae Review Posse.  The month of May is when we officially take one day out of the year to salute our Mothers.  (I hope you do it more than once a year.)  I would like to take time to wish all the Mothers a happy, healthy and prosperous Mother's Day.   My wish is that JAH ALMIGHTY will shower his blessing down upon you.

A Mother will be with you from the Cradle to the Grave.  She will be with you in the good times as well as the bad.  A Mother becomes your first teacher, healer and first love.  (Mothers invented the Hug) Often times Mothers have to play two roles, (Mother and Father) but with the grace of Jah, through the good times and often the hard times, they manage to keep the youth clothed and fed and keep the family together.  For all that you've done, I salute you all--"HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

To my Moms Mrs. Anna Hampton Bowers-Elam, you have made that final journey to the other side, you are missed but Never forgotten.  "Much Love" from your family Corbett, Corbett II, Carla, Rahsson and Kelsie Bowers.

Big Up goes out to DJ Sep (Dub Mission) who hosted the Mad Professor and the Ariwa Posse.  They Rocked the Dub Mission House that nite with some classic Singing & Dub.  Respect.  Also Big Up to the Maritime Hall for the Wicked Show they put on with the Article "Luciano," Junior Kelly and Mikey General.  Also the Maritime presented another show with the Gladiators and the Twinkle Brothers. Coming to the Maritime Hall this month to Mash Up San Franciso the one called SIZZLA with Prince Malachi, Turbulence and Hurricane Gilbert & Majestic.  Want more how about (coming this month also at the Maritime Hall) Tony Rebel, Itals and Buffalo Soldier.  Coming to Slims (one of my favorite groups)  Morgan Heritage, LMS and Denroy Morgan.  That's a show not to be missed.

Coming in month of June the SNWMF will be putting on one of the wickiest outdoor festivals of the year on June 22,23 & 24.  Lee "Scratch" Perry, Eek A Mouse, Rocker T, Stone Love, Buju Banton, Israel Vibration, Abyssinians, Don Carlos, Linval Thomas, The Mad Professor and Thomas Mapfumo just to name a few.  To get more information you can pull them up on the web at:   www.snwmf.com.  Another one of my all time favorites Reggae on the River which is now 75% sold out and will be by the end of this month.  Like I tell you every year you better get your tickets quick other wise you will be reading the reviews of the event in the Reggae Review.   Check this out Beenie Man, Papa Wemba, Silver Cat, Toots & the Maytals, Diana King, Luciano, Mikey General, Maricia Griffith, Everton Blender plus a Tribute to the Aloha Islands of Hawaii featuring Humble Soul, Kapena, Crazy Fingers just to name a few.  Go Dare.
